Crescent Point Energy Corporation is an oil and gas firm located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and Denver, Colorado, United States. They focus on light oil production in southern Saskatchewan and the Uinta basin in Utah. They were created in 2001. They expect to generate annual average production of 172,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2019, which is the same as 2018 after adjusting for asset sales. They also laid off about 230 employees and full-time contractors in September 2018 to reduce its staff to about 1,200 people.
